Bio
Diego holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2013), a master’s degree in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2016), and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte.
His recent academic work has used single-cell RNA sequencing and bulk RNA sequencing to investigate developmental neurobiology and the neuropathology of Alzheimer’s disease. He has worked as a bioinformatics analyst at Mendelics and as a bioinformatics developer at EMBL-EBI. He currently works at Ryvu Therapeutics and collaborates with researchers and biotechnology companies.
